“The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao.”

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”

The joy in “collapse” is to be found by accepting our complete nature: light and shadow, delight and pain, good and evil, life and death. In our darkness there is power, potential, renewal. Collapse spurs us to find our selfhood in the unity of the dance among our elements.

The veil of illusion between our temporal life and our eternal life is the fundamental separation that gives rise to the universe. Without the veil, we would see everything at once and our consciousness would be much different.

What does the veil feel like when it brushes against your face?
